CLEMENT KWAKU SOGBO

Clement Kwaku Sogbo is a passionate education leader committed to transforming basic education. With over a decade of experience in frontline education leadership, Clement brings a wealth of knowledge in school improvement, educational innovation, and teacher empowerment — all vital to EdAfrica’s mission of equipping schools, teachers, and learners for individual and national success.

A proud alumnus of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Clement holds an MPhil in Educational Innovations and Leadership Science as well as a BSc in Land Economy. He also earned a Diploma in Education from the University of Education, Winneba (UEW), which laid the foundation for his deep commitment to grassroots educational development.

Currently serving as a Circuit Supervisor in the Afigya Kwabre North District, Clement plays a pivotal role in monitoring and supporting public schools. His outstanding work earned him the distinction of Best School Improvement Support Officer (SISO) in the district — a testament to his impact and dedication.

Beyond his official duties, Clement is deeply involved in community-based educational initiatives. He is an education consultant for several private schools, a quiz moderator for Fish FM’s Mmofra Mmerɛ competition, and the District Quiz Coordinator for inter-school competitions. His leadership was instrumental in training the 2024 Otumfuo Community Reading Champion — a shining example of his commitment to literacy and learner excellence.

Clement also serves as the Ghana Accountability for Learning Outcomes Project (GALOP) focal person in his district, and represents educational administration rep, Afigya Kwabre, in the Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT). Through these platforms, he advocates for teacher development and education reform that aligns with EdAfrica Global’s vision of a thriving education system where innovation flourishes and poverty is disrupted through quality learning. He also works as an assistant examiner and supervisor for the West Africa Examination Council (WAEC).

With a clear vision to help shape a generation of empowered learners and teachers, Clement continues to be a champion for education that drives transformation, equity, and African progress.
