
ROSEMARY ACHIAA ASAMOAH
Rosemary Achiaa Asamoah Owusu Ansah is a Ghanaian scholar and global advocate currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Global Studies (International Relations) at Shanghai University, China. She holds a Master of Law degree in International Law from Zhongnan University of Economics and Law (2019–2021) and earned a bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Chinese from the University of Ghana (2010–2015). As part of her undergraduate studies, she completed a one-year Chinese Language Proficiency program at Zhejiang University of Technology (2013–2014).
Rosemary is a passionate advocate for women’s rights, gender equality, and social justice. Her work focuses on amplifying women’s voices, promoting intersectional feminism, and advancing policies and practices that ensure safety, economic empowerment, reproductive justice, and equal opportunities for women and girls globally. She is committed to dismantling systemic barriers and building solidarity for lasting, inclusive change.
In addition to her gender advocacy, Rosemary is equally dedicated to advancing equitable and transformative education for all children. She believes quality education is not only a fundamental human right but also a cornerstone for personal empowerment and sustainable societal progress. Her interests lie in inclusive pedagogy, accessible learning environments, and holistic development strategies that support all learners—especially those from marginalized backgrounds—to reach their full potential.
